Jerry Dale Kallam

Jerry Dale Kallam, 79 of Eden, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Annie Penn Hospital in Reidsville.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 1-2pm.

Jerry was born March 6, 1946 in Rockingham County, NC, to the late James Louis Kallam and Frances Elaine Redman Kallam. He was a member of Spray Baptist Church. Jerry served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked as a spinner at DuPont until his retirement. He later worked part-time at the Eden Recycle Center. Jerry loved Bluegrass Music and NASCAR. He was a member of the Rockingham Men’s Club and enjoyed his time with them. He also enjoyed campground camping and being outdoors.

Surviving Jerry are his wife, Frances Louise Rosenberg Kallam of the home; sons, Jimmy Pulliam (Pam) of Atlanta, GA, Todd Pulliam (Stephanie) of Eden, NC; step-children, Neil Ross (Joanna), Mary Warren, James Loesher, Paul Loesher; six grandchildren, Kyle, Jake, Tommy, Jamey, Jessica, Alyssa; four great-grandchildren, Colton, Knox, Parker, Rainy; siblings, Jim Kallam (Betty) of Norfolk, VA, Barbara Bryant of Edenton, NC, Doug Kallam of Collinsville, VA, Donnie Kallam (Linda) of Eden, NC, and Vickie Ellington (Doug) of Hertford, NC.

In addition to his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by his first wife, Brenda Kallam; his sisters, Betty Turner and Laura Mayes; brother, Larry Kallam; brothers-in-law, Ronald Turner, Jerry Mayes, Herman Bryant; and sister-in-law, Gloria Kallam.
