Jerry Darrell DeHart

Jerry Darrell DeHart, 74 of Eden, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.

A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026, from 2-4pm at Fair Funeral Home in Eden.

Jerry was born May 28, 1951, in Rockingham County, North Carolina, to the late Billie DeHart and Eula Hodgson DeHart. Jerry worked in construction as a superintendent until his retirement. Jerry was a one-of-a-kind person and well loved by many.

Surviving are his daughter, Tabitha DeHart Donnell (Derrick) of Whitsett, NC; sister, Adrian DeHart of Eden, NC; brother, Gene DeHart of Salisbury, NC; numerous nieces and nephews; and beloved companion, Barbara Hampton of Eden, NC.
