Jeanette Chatman McDaniel

Jeanette Chatman McDaniel, 76, of Reidsville passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Penn Nursing Center.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Jeanette was born October 31, 1947 in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Joseph Chatman and Virginia Earles Chatman. She worked in accounts payable at Morehead Memorial Hospital until her retirement. Jeanette loved shopping, gardening, sewing, and interior design.

Surviving are her daughter, Dawn Giltrow; sons, Shane A. McDaniel and James G. McDaniel; sister, Deborah Gauldin; brother, Joe Chatman, Jr. (Junie); grandchildren, Jacob R. Giltrow, Alex McDaniel (Alice), Karlee McDaniel, Ashlee McDaniel, Harley McDaniel; five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Jeanette is preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Mitchell, and second husband, Charles McDaniel.
