“J.C.” James Curtis Foley, Jr., 71, of Eden passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA.

A visitation and gathering of friends will be held from 6-8pm Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Fair Funeral Home in Eden.

J.C. was born March 17, 1952 in Rockingham County, NC, to the late James Curtis Foley, Sr., and Emogene Meadows Foley. He was a graduate of Morehead High School, class of 1970. He then attended and graduated Rockingham Community College and Appalachian State University. J.C. enjoyed repairing watches, bowling, and singing like Elvis. He played the harmonica and was a “Legend” in the poultry business. J.C. loved to tell “tall tales” and making people laugh. He loved his family and friends above all else.

Surviving are his loving wife, Patricia “Pat” Timmons Foley of the home; daughter, Erin Foley of Reidsville; sisters-in-law, Vivian Smith and Donna Lengel, both of Gaston, SC; dog, Lacey; many special cousins.

In addition to his parents, J.C. is preceded in death by his cousin, Mickey Dunovant.
