James Robert Oliver

James Robert Oliver, 61, of Stoneville, passed on February 28, 2022, at his home.

James was born May 9, 1960, in Guilford County, North Carolina, to the late Roy Douglas Oliver and Doris Marie Lawrence Oliver. He was a graduate of Southeast Guilford High School. James was self employed and made use of his many skills in life. He loved working on cars and motorcycles. James enjoyed leather working, and built houses. He was an artist.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Joshua Robert Oliver (Shirl) of Fairmont, NC; stepdaughter, Kristen Moore of Carver, MA; grandchildren; Randall Wynn, Joselynn Oliver, Joshua R Oliver, Jr., Jonah Oliver; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Patsy Young (Alan) of Lakeland, FL; brother, Danny Oliver (Brenda Tingler) of Stokesdale, NC; cousins and caregivers, Nicole Nelson and Becky Broome; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his wife, Amy-Jo “Jody” Oliver.
