James Norman

Mr. James "Jim" William Norman, 56, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021 at his residence.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 23rd in the Fair Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00pm. A visitation will be at Fair Funeral Home on Monday, November 22nd from 5-7pm. Burial will follow the funeral service at Roselawn Memorial Gardens on Tuesday.

James was born July 31, 1965 to Otis Grey Norman and Brenda Goode Crane. He was a pastor for over 25 years at the Northside Baptist Church in Eden, NC. He retired from the Printing and Graphics Department at UNCG and continued to pastor at the Northside Baptist Church. He graduated from Andersonville Baptist Seminary.

Mr. Norman is survived by his wife Susan Norman; mother, Brenda Crane (Kenny) of Reidsville; sons, Justin Norman (Jessica) of Eden, Matthew Norman (Danielle) of Eden; two grandsons and 5 step-grandchildren; brother, Patrick "Pete" Hutchens (Carrie) of Reidsville; one niece and three nephews.<

He was preceded in death by his father Otis Grey Norman.

The family wants to extend a special Thank You to the Gibson House (Hospice of Rockingham County) and the UNC Healthcare Cancer Center of Eden.
