James Michael "Mike" Atkins

James Michael "Mike" Atkins, 57, of 698 Linden Drive in Eden, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at his home.

Mike was born July 27, 1957 in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Jimmy Ray and Joan Gray Atkins. He was formerly employed by A. C. Furniture.

He is survived by his daugther, Kristin Atkins; son, William "Mikie" Atkins; brother, David Atkins and wife, Paula; and the mother of his children, Pam Richardson, and special friend Theresa Griffith all of Eden.

There will be no formal service, however, the family will receive friends at the home of his children, 1009 First Street in Eden on Saturday afternoon, 3 - 5 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family gratefully requests that donations be made to Fair Funeral Home to assist with the costs of services.
