James Francis Pulliam

James Francis Pulliam, 60, of 4872 NC 770 in Stoneville, passed away Wednesday afternoon, September 16, 2015 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County in Wentworth.

A funeral service wil be held at 3 PM on Saturday, September 19, at Stoneville Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow in Stoneville City Cemetery.

Mr. Pulliam was born February 6, 1955 in Leaksville, NC (now Eden) to the late Silas and Virginia Pulliam. He was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.

He is survived by two daughters, Michelle Pulliam of Lewisville and Shannon Tucker and husband, James of Stoneville; two sons, Scott Pulliam and wife, Annie of Ft. Hood, Texas and Steven Pulliam and wife, Dane of Vero Beach, Florida; 11 grandchildren; brothers, Johnny and David Pulliam; sisters, Nannie Corum, Ellen Craddock, Janie Carter, Julia Rakes, April Hurd, and Rebecca Burnett; and his faithful companion and pet, Sherry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Haley Pulliam; and brothers, Matthew, Ronnie and Jewel Pulliam.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to Dr. Scott Luking and staff at Reidsville Family Medicine for their care and compassion.

Visitation will be held Friday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
