James Douglas Clark

James D. Clark, age 83 went to be with Jesus and his late wife Delores Green Clark on August 31 2022.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, September 4th at 4:00pm in the Fair Funeral Home Chapel.  Visitation will be from 3-4pm prior to the service.  A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 6th at 10am at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive visitors at 120 Ellington Rd. Reidsville, NC. Flowers can be sent to Fairs Funeral Home.  

James was born in Price NC to Harvey Green Clark and Eva Mullins Clark on August 30 1939. James leaves behind five children; Sherry Clark, Brenda Lambert(Connor), Laurie “Peanut” Turner, James “Jay” Clark(Alison), and David Clark(Casey). He was known affectionately as Papa, Great-Papa, Papa-Pops by his 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 3 grandsons-in-law and 2 grand daughters-in-law. James also leaves behind a special friend Jeannie Campbell and his 3 dogs Lil man, Coco and Littlebit. James enjoyed spending time with family, listening to George Jones, and listening to bluegrass music, camping, and building anything he could get his hands on as he was a Superintendent and General Contractor at Venture Construction for many years.
