James Anthony

James Alfred Anthony, 61, of 733 Davis St., Eden passed away at Moses Cone Hospital on Friday, October 21, 2016.  

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Anthony was born on November 26, 1954 to James Nelson Anthony and Betty Ruth Abby Anthony.  James worked for ECK Miller as a truck driver.  He served his country proudly in the United States Navy.  He loved his family dearly and he will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Frances Barrett Anthony of the home; his children, Sonny James Anthony, Michael David Anthony, Matthew Allen Anthony, Heather Marie Villasenor, Shawn Daniel Anthony, Eric Lee Anthony; his parents, James Nelson Anthony and Betty Ruth Abby Anthony; nineteen grandchildren; three brothers; three sisters and a large extended family.

He is preceded in death by his son, Joseph John Rought.
