Jacqueline Howlett Aheron, 86, of
Eden, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 13, 2022.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 2pm at
Victory Baptist Church,
2040 E Stadium Dr, Eden NC, with burial to follow at
Danview Cemetery in
Eden. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at
Victory Baptist Church. For those unable to attend the service, Jacqueline will lie-in-repose on Friday, February 18, 2022, from 1-5pm.
Jacqueline was born on June 30, 1935, to the late James L. and Victoria Stoneman Howlett, in
Rockingham County, NC. She was an active member of
Victory Baptist Church in
Eden. After high school, Jacqueline worked hard to get her nursing degree and worked as a Registered Nurse at
Morehead Memorial Hospital.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Mark Aheron (Nancy) of Winston-Salem; grandchildren, Sarah Marquez of Gibsonville, Esther Drew (Tommy) of Hamden, CT, John Aheron, Jr. (Sarah) of Melbourne, FL; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Virginia Whitten (the late Joseph) of Eden, Mary West (the late Woodrow) of Greenville, SC; brother, Cornelius Howlett (Linda) of Eden; special nieces and nephews, Tim Howlett, Susan White (Ken), Rudine Gillie (Miles), Joe Whitten (Amy), Bart West (Lori), Rene West, Donna Barnhill (James), Howard Howlett (the late Ginger), James Howlett (Wendy), Kim Frick (Joe); great-nieces and nephews, Drew, Kayla, Aaron, Joel, Josh, Sarah, Daniel, Courtney, Chris, Hillary, Tori, Tanner, Hunter, Holden, Tabitha, Lydia.
In addition to her parents, Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband Willie Aheron; brother, Dewitt Howlett (
Vista), sister, Juanita M Howlett, and nephew, Mark West.
