Jack William Shell, Jr.

Jack William Shell, Jr., 59, passed away Tuesday afternoon, December 22, 2020, at UNC-Rockingham Health Care in Eden.

A private memorial service will be held at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.

Jack was born December 26, 1960 in Detroit, Michigan.  He was a 1978 graduate of Osborn High School in Detroit.  Jack was a US Army veteran and had worked as a roofer before becoming disabled.  He enjoyed attending on-line services with Osborne Baptist Church in Eden and was an avid sports fan. Watching college football was a favorite pastime, especially when it involved Michigan teams.

He is survived by three children, Stephanie Carr (Jeremy) of Toledo, OH, Jered Shell (Theresa) of Louisville, KY and Jordan Shell (Teresa) of Roseville, MI; his father, Jack W. Shell, Sr. of Eden; sisters, Dayna Kotowski (Tony) of Oxford, MI, Laurie Howard (Kevin) of Eden; grandchildren, Tyler Carr, Airabella Carr, Jeremy Shell, Kyleigh Shell, Tessa Shell and Tobias Shell; and nieces and nephews, Kyle Kotowski, Alison Kettlewell, Aaron Howard and Justin Howard.

Preceding Jack in death was his mother, Glenda Lee Wiseman Shell.
