Jack Milford Morris, age 84 of 110 Madison Street, Eden passed away early Saturday morning at Hospice Home of Rockingham County.
A funeral service will be held 3 pm Friday December 28th at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Goode preciding , burial to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens. The Rockingham County Honor Guard will be performing Military Rites at the graveside.
Jack was born May 20, 1928 in Rockingham County to the late Clarence and Bessie Gunter Morris. He was retired from Spray Cotton Mills and served in the US Airforce. Jack was a member of the Eden Lions Club for 45 years and a member of the Combat Airmen of WW II. Jack was a graduate of Stoneville High School Class of 1947 and took various coures at RCC.
Preceding him in death along with his parents was a sister, Joan Hill. Surviving Jack is one sister, Gerri Ferguson of Stoneville; nephews, Michael Ferguson of Stoneville, Todd Ferguson of Fayetteville, Shane Ferguson of Raleigh and Barry Hill of Bethany; nieces, Debbie Anderson and Sherri Myers of Ruffin and special great nephew, Seth Ferguson and several great nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends friends one hour prior to the service from 2-3 pm on Friday.
