Ivadell West Denny

Ivadell West Denny, 98, passed away Friday, July 30, 2021. She was born December 16, 1922 in Eden, NC. She attended New Heights Baptist Church and was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.

Ivadell married Sam Drewry Denny on February 19, 1944.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Jerry Drewry Denny.

Survivors include her daughter, Dale Elizabeth Schoonover of Chattanooga; son, James Kyle Denny of Aiken, SC; sister, Arabelle Smith of Eden, NC; grandchildren, Diane Carol Gaetano of Chattanooga, James Michael Gaetano of Charleston, SC, Abigail Merriman Elder of Aiken, SC, Ross Alexander Denny of Savannah, GA, Amy Elizabeth Landers of Dahlonega, GA and Jerry Drewry Denny, Jr. of Chattanooga, TN; 8 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Ridge View Cemetery in Eden, NC.
