Iva Armstrong Hill

Iva Victoria Armstrong Hill, age 96, previously of Ridge Ave. Eden, N.C. and for the past four years of Morehead Nursing Center, Eden N.C. passed away on Monday January 26th, 2015 at Morehead Memorial Hospital.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 29th, at 2 pm at the Gospel Tabernacle, 1324 Lincoln St. Eden, NC with Pastor Dallas Decker officiating. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at the home of her son at 1422 Hopkins Ct. Eden, NC. Burial will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens in Eden.

Iva was the daughter of the late Hugh and Rethia Craig Armstrong.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Davis Hill; daughter, Margaret Frances Hill Bateman (Sammy); grandson, Keith Bateman; sisters, Eulala Bowers (Mac), and Octavia Bowers (George); and brother, Aza Armstrong (Vallie).

Surviving is her son Thomas (Tommy) Hill and wife, Frances; Grandchildren, Christopher Hill (Carolyn), Janet Ore, Michael Bateman, Gary Bateman, and twelve great grandchildren and special niece Ann Quesinberry (James).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Iva?��Ǩ�Ѣs name to the Gospel Tabernacle, 1324 Lincoln St. Eden, NC.
