Idellis Eanes Stoots

Idellis Eanes Stoots, 87, of 222 NC 700 West in Eden, passed away Tuesday afternoon, July 31, 2018, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, August 3, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Overlook Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (1 - 2 PM) at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence.

Mrs. Stoots was born July 11, 1931 in Rockingham County, NC, to the late William Lewis Eanes and Hattie Burgess Eanes.  She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church where she loved to sing.

She is survived by her husband, James Stoots of the home and sister, Pattie Watkins and husband, George of Eden.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Kallam;  three brothers;  and one sister.
