H.M. Mcfarling

Houston “H.M.” Malloy McFarling, Jr., 71, formerly of Eden, NC. passed Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Jacob’s Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation in Madison, NC.
A funeral service will be held 12 noon, Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Draper Christian Church, 1122 W Fieldcrest Rd, Eden, NC 27288, with burial to follow at DanView Cemetery in Eden. A visitation will be held at Draper Christian Church one hour prior to the service, from 11am until 12 noon.

H.M. was born March 18, 1951 in Leaksville, NC, to the late Houston “Mac” McFarling, Sr. and Margaret Ann Webber McFarling. He was a graduate of Morehead High School, Class of 1969. H.M. was a member of Draper Christian Church. He loved reading his Bible and living his life for the Lord. H.M. enjoyed fishing, going to the beach, and watching westerns. He was a volunteer for the American Red Cross and, in his younger years, was a member of the Civil Air Patrol.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Cindy McFarling of Ridgeway; brothers, Kenneth McFarling (Velma) of Ridgeway, Dennis McFarling of Eden.

In addition to his parents, H.M. is preceded in death by his sister, Delores McFarling.
