Herbert Jackson "Jack" Webster, 86, of 2614 East Woodlun Way in Greensboro, passed away Monday morning, September 16, 2013, at Moses Cone Hospital.
A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, September 21, at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Webster was born July 13, 1927 in Leaksville, NC, son of the late Walter B. Webster and Jennette Meeks Webster. He was a World War II Navy veteran and a member of Rolling Roads Baptist Church. Mr. Webster was a retired salesman for Coleman Envelope and Printing Company. He had also worked as an insurance agent for Western-Southern Life Insurance Company.
He is survived by his wife, Celia Sullivan Webster of the home; daughter, Sheila Webster Phillips and husband, Steve, of Murrell's Inlet, SC; son, Herbert Jackson "Jason" Webster, Jr. of Jamestown; a granddaughter, Kimberly Phillips; step-daughters, Kimberly Foy O'Brien and Shannon Foy Hefti; step-grandchildren, Karie Lynn O'Brien, Kristopher Ray O'Brien, Jessica Michele O'Brien, and Grace Hefti; and three step-great-grandchildren, Kendal Nicole Moore, Madison Brook Moore, Kayla Moore, Troy O'Brien and Maddie Elizabeth.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday, 1 - 1:45pm, at Fair Funeral Home before traveling to Woodlawn Cemetery for the graveside service.
