Helen Wilson Lovings

Helen Wilson Lovings, 91, of 2762 Oregon Hill Road in Ruffin, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017, at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro.

The funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, October 7, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemtery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (1 - 2 PM) at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence.

Mrs. Lovings was born July 5, 1926 in Axton, VA, to the late Frank and Hattie Pearl Fair Wilson.  

She is the mother of five daughters, Brenda O'Dell of Ruffin, Betty Kallam of Eden, Dorothy Rogers of Graham, Jean Mays of Graham and Anne Goodson of Reidsville;  six sons, James Lovings, Jimmy Lovings, Joshua Mabe Lovings, all of Ruffin, David Fuqua of Mebane, Henry Fuqua, Tom Fuqua of Burlington;  nine grandchildren, Christina Rigney, Christopher O'Dell, Jerry Alford, James Kallam, Len Kallam, Daniel Kallam, Sarah Rigney, Mattie Rigney, and Alyssa Rigney; and sisters, Ina Holt of Reidsville and Annie Grubbs of Eden.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Audrey Martin Lovings and their infant son, James Martin Lovings.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Fair Funeral Home, PO Box 337, Eden, NC  27289 to assist with the costs of the service.
