Harold Westmoreland

Harold Westmoreland, 90, passed away Wednesday morning, September 27, 2017, at Morehead Memorial Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, September 30th at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (1 - 2 PM) at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of his daughter, Cynthia Farris.

Mr. Westmoreland was born December 12, 1926 in Stokes County, NC, to the late Crawford Lee and Nola Snyder Westmoreland.  He was a member of Tri-City Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mable Moser Westmoreland of the home;  four daughters, Sylvia Troxler of Stoneville, Cherry Bragdon of Kernersville, Cynthia Farris (John) of Stoneville and Nona Burchell (Billy) of Stoneville;  eight grandchildren;  seven great-grandchildren;  and brothers, Charles Westmoreland (Betty) and Ted Westmoreland (Lucille), both of King.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandchildren.
