Grayson Lee Hatcher, 27, of Eden, NC, went "Home" on Sunday, May 5, 2024
Grayson, a precious and gentle soul, departed from this earthly realm too soon for us, but now rests in the loving arms of Jesus, who rescued him from the trials of this life, granting him eternal peace and joy. Because Grayson is Born Again by faith in Jesus Christ, his spirit now dwells with Jesus, awaiting his mansion in Heaven, as his body sleeps, awaiting the moment when Jesus will call his name to rise again, as promised in 1 Corinthians 15:52:"In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." Hallelujah!
Grayson's mother, Noel, precedes him and is also in the arms of Jesus.
Grayson was dearly loved and raised by his father, Stephen, his granny Melinda, whom he called "mama", and his papa Jimmy, surrounded by love and nurturing care. Grayson's father Stephen, brother Logan, his grandparents James and Melinda Hatcher, and Ron Martin, along with his uncle Jerry, aunt Keli, and uncle Patrick Martin, loved and cherished him deeply, holding onto cherished memories.Grayson's step-sister Madison, a student studying abroad, Eleana, his cousin, and all of his other family who loved him, all mourn his unexpected departure from this temporal life. Grayson is precious to his family, and brought love and light to all who knew him, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those around him.
Followers of Jesus Christ find solace in His words of John 14:2-3:
"In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."
There will be a private memorial service at a later date.
