Gracie Roach Turner

Gracie Roach Turner, age 83 of Eden, NC passed away October 5th, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday October 9th, 11:00 am at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Danview Cemetery. The visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Fair Funeral Home.

Gracie was born July 19th, 1941 to the late Charlie Offerell Roach and Clara Corum Roach in Draper, NC. She was a member of Resurrection Life Church and attended Holmes Theological Seminary in Greenville, S.C. Gracie was a retired minister. She was also an avid reader of the Bible as well as other books. She loved to witness to others about Jesus. She never met a stranger. Gracie loved her family. There was never a time she wouldn’t stop to pray with you if you needed her to. She had more “children” than you could count.

Surviving her are her daughters Kathryn T. Edwards (Tony) of Eden, NC, Melba Wyatt (Mark) of Eden, NC, Bonnie Pruitt (Flint) of Texas and one sister Jean R. Booth of Eden, NC, grandchildren Chad Edwards (Kelly) of Hillsborough, NC, Danielle Fain (Justin) of Eden, NC, Jacob Bowman of Eden, NC, Ashley Snow (Cody) of Eden, NC, Rachel Grubb of Texas, Christopher Moreno of Texas, great grandchildren Evelyn, Liam, Bryson, Braelyn, Talen, Aubrey, Kendall, Colton, Jax, Wrenleigh, special son Sylvester Durham (Stella) and their son Cameron along with numerous nieces and nephews.
