A memorial gathering will be held from 4-6pm Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Fair Funeral Home in Eden. A private burial will be held at a later date.
Grace was born September 17, 1945 in Rockingham County to the late Stonewall Jackson Evans and Georgia Minter Evans. She was a homemaker and enjoyed watching TV in her spare time, especially Matlock and Price-is-Right. Grace was a resident of Brookdale of Eden for the last 11 years.
Surviving are sons, Keith McGuire of Eden, Bryan McGuire of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Lemmie McGuire of Burlington; nephews, Doug, Dwayne and Dennis Pruitt, niece Diane Pruitt and also many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded by brothers, Mack, Ophus and Calvin Evans; three sisters, Barbara Pruitt, Ellen Blackwell and Almeria Evans.
