Gloria Carter Younts

Gloria Carter Younts, 79, of Eden, passed away Friday, October 21, 2022, in Eden, NC.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 28, 2022, at 2 pm at Fair Funeral Home Chapel, with family receiving friends one hour prior to the service.  Burial to follow in Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.

Gloria was born August 31, 1943 in Rockingham County, NC, to the late James Carter and Gracie Scott Carter. Gloria loved to cook, bake cakes, cross word puzzles, read and sitting outside on her porch.

She is survived by a daughter, Regina Bautista of Martinsville, VA.; 4 grandchildren, Dustin Odell, Chad Purdy, Tushon Hairston and Lamenia Wooten; 7 great grandchildren; a special niece, Rhonda Pratt of Eden and a sister, Peggy (Frankie) Grogan of Eden.  Also survived by several other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Otis Wilson Odell, second husband, Glenn Younts, a sister, Geraldine Pratt and a brother, J. D. Carter.
