Glenn Matthew Fair

Glenn Matthew Fair, age 53 passed away Thursday, August 19, 2021. Glenn was a hardworking gentle man who enjoyed working and spending time with his wife and boys. He was an avid sports fan, and loved his University of North Carolina Tarheels. 

A memorial service will be held 2 pm Friday, September 10, 2021 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel, 11528 Hwy 17, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. 

He was born November 21, 1967 in Eden, North Carolina. Glenn attended the College of Charleston and Coastal Carolina University. He was employed at ABC Supply where he truly enjoyed his job in sales and always had a special fondness for his co-workers. Glenn served five years in the United States Navy, flying intelligence as a Cryptologist maintaining the highest level of security clearance. He loved his country and received numerous Naval medals and awards. 
He is survived by his wife, Penny, two sons, Jacob and Asher, his mother, Barbra, Stepfather Vic Millsaps, his father, Jim Fair and Stepmother Mary, Stepbrothers, Marty and Kevin Millsaps, two “special uncles”, Jimmy Elliott (Kathryn) and Neil Fair (Ann) , “special aunts” Joyce Johnson (Ed). Peggy Fair, and Daphne D’Agostino (Joe) along with numerous cousins. 

Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
