Gladys Marie Jones

Gladys Marie Jones, 72 of Eden, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Ancora Compassionate Care’s Gibson House in Reidsville.

There will be no formal services.

Gladys was born August 14, 1953, to the late James Ernest Jones and Dawn Overby Jones. She was a graduate of Morehead High School and studied at Rockingham Community College. Gladys worked as a registered dietician at Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation in Eden for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Gladys is preceded in death by her son, Jim S. Wray; daughter-in-law, Ronda Yates Wray; brother, Ernest Wayne Jones; sister, Gloria Jones Ramey.

Surviving are her children, John C. Wray, Nikki Wray Carlisle (Jonathan); grandchildren, Zane Wray, Alex Wray; Savannah Easter, Colton Pettigrew, Cody Wray, Jessie Lynch; great-grandchildren, Emma, Ava, Trinity, Tristen, and Autumn; brother, Jay Jones (Dale).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made toward final expenses.
