Geraldine C. Donovant, 69, of 103 Park Rd., passed away early Sunday morning, February 10, 2013 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County in Wentworth, NC. The family will have a private burial at a later date. Fair Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Geraldine Donovant was born June 11, 1943 in Spray, NC to the Late Isaac and Bertha Dunn Craddock. Mrs. Donovant attended Emmanuel Baptist Church in Eden, and worked in the past at the Eden Brian Center in the linen department.
Surviving are two sisters, Joyce Craddock and Odessa Coe, one brother Eddie Craddock, Special niece April Lester and great nephew Tabiyis Graham all of Eden, NC. She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Donovant.
There will be no formal visitation. The family would like for anyone wishing to send flowers to have them sent to 631 Lee St. Eden, NC 27288.
