Georgia Wilhoit Lawson

Georgia Wilhoit Lawson, 78, of 2604 Ashley Loop in Reidsville, passed away Monday, January 2, 2012 at Annie Penn Memorial Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, January 5, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Lawson was born October 28, 1933 in Lafollette, TN, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Belle Petree Wilhoit. She was a homemaker. Surviving are her three children, James L. Lawson and wife, Kay of Reidsville, Phillip L. Lawson and wife, Tina of Reidsville, and Pamela L. Trombley and husband, Scott of Summerfield; four granddaughters, Kalyn D. Trombley of Summerfield, Megan M. Lawson and Morganne L. Lawson, both of Reidsville, and Sarah A. Trombley of Summerfield; and sisters, Evelyn N. Belcher of Reidsville and Hazel Queener of Caryville, TN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie G. Lawson.
