George E. Church

George E. Church age 67 of 809 Jay Street, Eden passed away on Friday April 6, 2018 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.

A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 am at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.  A visitation will be held on Sunday evening from 6-8 pm at Fair Funeral Home. The family will meet at other times at the home.

George was born June 22, 1950 in Patrick Springs, VA to the late Nathan Church and Mattie Witt Church Rigney.  He was of the Baptist faith and was a retired Painter. He enjoyed fishing and family cookouts.

Preceding him in death along with his parents was sister, Charlene Church Flinchum; brothers, Edward, Bobby and Tommy Church.

Surviving are wife, Perciller Smith Church of the home; daughters, Terri Church Rorrer and husband Todd of Eden, Karen Church Owen and husband Jimmy of Stoneville; brothers, Roy Church and wife Linda of Mayodan and Mike Rigney and wife Lisa of Eden; grandchildren, Tommy Church, J.T. Rorrer, Brooke Owen, Hannah Owen and Sidney Owen; soon to be great-grandson, Remington William Church.
