Geneva Robertson Allen

Geneva Robertson Allen, 96 of Eden, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, August 27, 2026.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, August 30, 2026 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service at the Morehead Fair House.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Fair Funeral Home from 4-6pm.

A private family burial will be held at Mt Carmel Church Cemetery in Reidsville at a later date.

Geneva was born November 29, 1929 to the late Tommie Roberson, Sr. and Myrtle Burchell Roberson. She was a member of Draper Christian Church for more than 70 years. Geneva was a member of the Rockingham County School Board in the 1970s and 1980s, having been instrumental in the building of Rockingham County High School. She was also a charter member of the Oregon Hill Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Geneva enjoyed baking and sewing and was considered a wonderful seamstress. Geneva was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and neighbor.

Surviving are her daughters, Robin Hundley of Eden, Martha Carter (Keith) of Oak Ridge; grandchildren, Adam Hundley (Sonya Crabtree) of Eden, Rachel Tucker (Nic) of Winston-Salem; great-great-grandchildren, Madi Hundley and Maci Hundley of Eden; sister-in-law, Lib Roberson.

In addition to her parents, Geneva is preceded in death by her husband, William “Penn” Allen; son-in-law, David Hundley; brothers, Tommie Roberson, Jr., Wilford Roberson, and Larry Roberson.
