Franklin "Frankie" James Spencer

Franklin “Frankie” James Spencer, 62, of Martinsville, VA, passed on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Sovah Health in Martinsville.

A funeral service will be held 2pm Monday, February 14, 2022, at Landmark Baptist Church in Collinsville, VA, with burial to follow at Blackberry Church Cemetery in Bassett, VA. A visitation will be held from Noon until 2pm on Monday, February 14, 2022, at Landmark Baptist Church.

Frankie was born September 14, 1959, in Martinsville, VA, to Charles Edward Spencer and the late Margaret Ann Harris Spencer. He was a graduate of Carver High School. Frankie worked at Wieland Copper Products in Madison, NC, until his retirement. He was a collector of miniature clocks and enjoyed watching NASCAR.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 41 years, Teresa Holt Spencer; sons, Matthew Spencer and Patrick Spencer, both of the home; father, Charles Edward Spencer of Martinsville, VA; special friends, Kim and Sean Gillen of Martinsville, VA.

Frankie is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Ann Harris Spencer.
