Frank Wilson Daniel

Frank Wilson Daniel, 65, of 740 Conway Drive in Axton, VA, passed away early Wednesday morning, August 21, 2013.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, August 24 in Barker / Daniel Family Cemetery in Axton.

Mr. Daniel was born June 8, 1948 in Henry County, VA, son of the late Fount Millard Daniel and Eva Mae Barker Daniel. He was a US Army veteran who served in Vietnam as part of the 11th Infantry Bravo. Mr. Daniel was employed by DDI (Diversified Distributing Industry) as a fork lift driver.

He is survived by his daughter, Katrina Daniel of Ridgeway, VA; step-son, Troy Smith of Axton, VA; sister, Mildred Hughes of Ringgold, VA and six grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kersten Bowman Daniel; daughter, Lisa Marie Daniel; and brother, Millard Daniel.

The family will receive friends from 9 AM to 10:30 AM on Saturday morning before proceeding to the cemetery for the graveside service and other times at the home of Troy Smith, 744 Conway Drive in Axton.
