Francis "Ann" Slaydon-Penn

Francis “Ann” Slaydon-Penn, 66 of 2024 Mill Ave. Eden, NC passed away on Saturday March 26, 2022 at her home.

A “Gathering of Family and Friends”  will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday March 29th at her home.

Francis Ann was born October 28, 1955 in Leaksville, NC (Eden) to the late Richard “Oren” Slaydon and Betty Lou Carter Slaydon.  She was a graduate of Morehead High School Class of 1974 and also graduate of Allen’s Beauty School.  She enjoyed to doing flower gardening, motorcycles and especially she loved her grandchildren and family.

Surviving are husband, Billy Joe Penn, Sr. of the home; sons, Kevin Kallam (Karolyn Kusmik), Benjamin “Ben” Kallam (Becca), Matthew Kallam, Chris Penn and Billy Joe Penn, Jr.; grandchildren, Melanie Kallam, Kaitlyn Mansfield, Mark Kallam, Ayden Kallam, Maddie, Aldrey Kallam, and Julian Kallam; great-grandchildren, Everleigh Stanley and Rylan Stanley; and several life-long friends.

Nikki Cross (Dean) and their children, Kylie, Dylan and Grace.
