Frances Wright Warf

Frances Wright Warf, 88, passed away Saturday, October 11th at her residence in Eden, NC.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 15th at 2:00pm in the Ridgeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A visitation will be held at Fair Funeral Home, October 15th from 1:00-1:45pm.

Frances was born September 3, 1937 to the late James Russell Wright and Evelyn Long Wright. She was a 1955 graduate of Tri-City High School. Frances worked for 32 years at The Leaksville News (later known as The Eden News.) Most of that time she was an advertising representative. She never lost her love for the newspapers, books and music. She cherished her memories of country life and travels with her husband during their 65 years of marriage. Frances attended Spray Baptist Church in Eden.

She is survived by her son Frank Warf and wife Becky and brother Jimmy Wright and wife, Barbara. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Troy Franklin Warf, Jr. in 2024.
