Frances H. Smith

Frances H. Smith, 85, passed away Saturday, December 2nd at Roman Eagle Rehab and Health Care in Danville, VA.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 6th, at 11:00am in the Fair Funeral Home Chapel, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at the North Fork Cemetery in Leatherwood, VA.

Frances was born August 14, 1938 to the late Willie Edward Hatcher and Ruby Tuggle Hatcher in Rockingham Co.  She worked at Morehead Memorial Hospital in a clerical / bookkeeping position.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Dennis Smith (Denise); daughter, Bette Smith Hutchens (Mark); grandchildren, Hatcher Ray Hutchens, Marson Wayne Hutchens, Dalyn Zel Hutchens; brother, Roger Dale Hatcher (Judy); nieces, Ronda Crews, Jerri Crews, Leighann Thacker, Erin Jenkins, Robin Roberts; nephew, Jessie Roberts

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Smith, a son, Steven Ray Smith; sister, Modean Gayle Roberts
