Frances "Frankie" Soyars

Frances “Frankie” Elizabeth Scott Soyars, 91, of Ruffin, passed away early Wednesday morning, January 20, 2021, at Gibson House (Hospice of Rockingham County) in Reidsville.

To honor Frankie’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.

Born February 10, 1929 in Draper, NC, Frankie was the daughter of the late Steiner Scott and Cassie Talbert Scott Allen. During her working years, she farmed and ran a night club known as, The Nite Spot.  Frankie loved life and loved dancing.  She will forever, be in our hearts.

She is survived by her special niece and caregiver, Sherree M. Wilson (Keith); along with other nieces and nephews, Kay, Glenn, Van, John, Lisa, Jay and Anita.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Cecil Soyars; sisters, Elaine Eaton and Joan Montgomery; and brothers, Marvin and T. J. Scott.
