Frances Elizabeth Lewis Robertson

Frances Elizabeth Lewis Robertson, age 97, passed away peacefully at her home in Bartlett, TN on Sunday, April 2, 2023.  A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, April 11, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 1821 Ashley Loop, in Reidsville, NC. 

Mrs. Robertson was born May 22, 1925, to Isaac and Hattie Mae Lewis of Galivants Ferry, South Carolina.  The former Miss Lewis worked in the defense industry during WWII where she would meet the love of her life, H. Alton Robertson, at the wars conclusion.  They made their home in North Carolina, Mississippi, Arkansas, and lastly Tennessee.  Mrs. Robertson is survived by daughters Carolyn Jennings of the home and Janice Henry of Selmer, TN; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. 

Mrs. Robertson was proceeded in death by her parents, eight siblings, son David, daughter Pamela and husband Alton whom she enjoyed 64 years of marriage. 

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the charity of their choice.
