Frances Ann Mills Bingman

Frances Ann Mills Bingman, 78, of 204 S. Byrd Street in Eden, passed away Sunday evening, May 6, 2012, at Morehead Nursing Center.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, May 9, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Bingman was born August 2, 1933 in Draper, NC, daughter of the late Clifton and Hattie Evans Mills. She was a member of Merriman Street Wesleyan and had also attended Nothside Baptist Church. Mrs. Bingman was a retiree of Karastan Rug Mill.

She is survived by her husband, Odell Bingman of the home; daughters, Lisa Gover and husband, Frank, Jr. of Cleveland, NC, Benita Simmons of Stoneville, and Pat Dabbs and husband, Kenneth of Eden; son Gary Bingman and wife, Susan of Eden; grandchildren, Richard Dabbs and wife, JoBeth, Dawn Tucker and husband, Brian, Franklin Gover, III, Amber Dabbs, Courtney Gover, Kari Bingman and Joshua Bingman; great-grandsons, Chase Dabbs, Avery Tucker, and Hayden Dabbs; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Kenneth Dabbs, Jr.; sisters, Irene Weadon, Lillie Fayne, and Nina Manuel; and brother, Wilford Mills.

There will be no formal visitation, however, the family will receive friends at the residence, 204 South Byrd Street.
