Floyd Douglas Carter, 84, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2020, at his home.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Born August 24, 1936 in Axton, VA, Floyd was the son of the late Howard Lee Carter and Mary Woodall Carter.
He is survived by his sister, Mae Elizabeth Campbell of Eden; nieces, Charlotte Burchell, Mary Campbell, Betty Jean Engle, all of Eden and Brenda Mitchell of Virginia; nephews, Bobby Campbell of Tennessee, Bobby Carter of Virginia, and Richard Cheshire of Eden; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Carter; sister, Violet Carter; nephews, Jeffrey Campbell and Ronald Campbell; and nieces, Debbie Campbell and Joyce Braham.
