Florence Odell Dodson

Florence Odell Dodson, age 83 of Eden, NC passed away at Brian Center on Saturday June 17, 2017.  

A funeral Service will be held 11 am Monday at  Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens. 

Mrs. Dodson was born May 26, 1934 in Rockingham County to the late Pryor Odell and Lelia Patterson Odell Ferris.  She was retired from Kids World Daycare. 

Preceding her in death along with her parents was her husband, Eual Dodson; sister, Blanche Burchell; brothers, Bo Odell and Gerald Ferris.

Surviving are son, Otis Dalton (Mary Anna) of Stoneville; daughters, Linda East (Danny) and Dawn Pulliam (Danny) of Eden; brother, Harold Ferris of Shiloh; sisters, Gracie Carter of Eden, Dora Price of Stoneville, Becky Odell of Florida, Sue Odell of Greensboro and Shelby Carter (James) of Stoneville; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 till 11 am. and other times at the home of her son, 303 Church Street, Stoneville.
