Florence Louise Joyce

Florence Louise Joyce, 86, passed away early Friday morning, September 1, 2017 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, September 4, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (1 - 2 PM) at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence, 117-2 Oaklawn Street in Stoneville.

Miss Joyce was born December 13, 1930 in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Robert Snead Joyce and Martha Wilson Joyce.  She was a retiree of Stoneville Furniture Company.  Florence loved taking care of her family.  She was of the Pentecostal faith.

She is survived by her siblings, Lena Wray of Stoneville and Larry Joyce (Linda) of Eden;  nieces, Linda Ivey (Pat) of Kernersville, Hope Lewis (James) of Stoneville and Laura Bryant (Scott) of Eden; and nephew, Richard Taylor of Charlotte.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Charles Edwin Joyce, Nancy Minor, Thelma Joyce, and Mary Berry.
