Faye Cooke Enzor

Faye Cooke Wyatt Enzor, 93, entered into her reward on Monday, August 9, 2021 at her home in Eden.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 15 at 2:00 p.m. at Fair Funeral Home, with family receiving friends following the service.

Faye was born on June 1, 1928 in Eden, NC to the late Ossie Clarence Cooke and Daisy Boyd (Carter) Cooke. She was a member of Hampton Heights Baptist Church, where she enjoyed volunteering.   She was a life long resident of Eden except for the six years she spent in Wilmington, NC working during the war with Japan.  She attended New Hanover High School in Wilmington; she worked for E.I. DuPont in Martinsville before joining Belk where she retired. 

She is survived by her daughters Suzette Hunt of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Vanessa Ingram of Eden, North Carolina, one sister, Barbara Saul of Eden, North Carolina; two grand children and seven great grandchildren.

Faye was preceded in death along with her parents and by her first husband, Aubrey Wyatt and her second husband Austin F. Enzor.

A special thanks to Della Smith, Debra Cunningham and Peggy McCullen for all of their loving care and compassion that they gave to Faye. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rockingham County.
