Fairie Jones Robertson

Fairie Jones Robertson, 97, of 1641 Moir Mill Road, passed away Thursday evening, January 12, 2012 . A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, January 15, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. A private committal will be held on Monday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Robertson was born July 26, 1914 in Patrick County, Virginia, daughter of the late Thomas and Ila Craig Jones. She was a retiree of Fieldcrest / Karastan. Surviving are her daughter, Janie Ladd and husband, Charles of Greensboro; son, Samuel Robertson of Eden; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, James Otis Robertson. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service (1:30 pm to 2 pm) at Fair Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to North Spray Christian Church, 521 Washburn Avenue, Eden, NC 27288.
