Elsie Vernita Gauldin Dickerson

Elsie Vernita Gauldin Dickerson, 72, of 105 Twila Lane in Eden, passed away Thursday morning, February 6, 2020, at Hospice Home of Burlington.

There will be no formal service.

Elsie was born April 28, 1947 in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Robert "Buck" Gauldin and Christine Curry Gauldin.  She was of the Baptist faith and was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.

She is survived by her daughters, Rita Dickerson Reed of Eden and Rhonda Dickerson Isley and husband, Tony, of Fieldale, VA;  sisters, Patsy Gauldin Sheetz of Eden and Wanda Gauldin Saunders and husband, Bruce, of Eden;  brothers, Lester Gauldin of Reidsville, Avery Gauldin of Stoneville, Milton Gauldin of Eden, and Kenneth Gauldin and wife, Vickie, of Eden;  six grandchildren, Bobby, Brandy, Robbie, Ashley, Angel, and Alan;  and father of her children, Bobby V. Dickerson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Amy Rose;  four brothers, Curtis, Otis and Junior Gauldin and Jackie Vernon;  and two sisters, Doris and Vera Curry.
