Ellen Goins Terry

Ellen Goins Terry, 73, of 1869 Price Road, passed away Saturday evening, December 4, 2010 at Morehead Memorial Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, December 8, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. A native of NC, Mrs. Terry was born April 4, 1937, daughter of the late Otis and Eva Kimmons Goins. She was a member of Wentworth Church of God and was a retiree of Stoneville Furniture Company. Surviving are her five children, Don Goins and wife, Janet of Madison, Ricky Goins of Gibsonville, Darlene Bateman and husband, Gary of Eden, Teresa Goins of Eden, and Amy Bennett and husband, Chris of Pelham; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Gladys Wilson of Mayodan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Goins. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening 6 - 8 PM at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter, Teresa Goins, 1871 Price Road in Eden.
