Elizabeth "Lib" Fleming Pace

October 1, 1921 — October 22, 2016

Elizabeth Fleming Pace, 95, passed away on October 22, 2016 at Morehead Nursing Center. A funeral service will be held 11:00am, Monday, October 24 at First Baptist Church with burial to follow at Lawson Cemetery. Mrs. Pace was born on October 1, 1921 to the late Paul and Eva Fleming in Leaksville, NC. 

Surviving are her son, William F. (Bill) Pace, Sr. and wife Susan of Eden; step-daughter, Linda P. Hawkins and husband Paul of Reidsville; grandchildren, Michele Pace Benson of Greenville, NC, William F. (Jay) Pace, Jr. of Eden, John T. (Ty) Pace and wife Torie of Eden; great grandchildren, Anna Benson of Greenville, NC, Ivy and Kinley Pace of Eden, NC, Elizabeth, Katherine, Ben, Charlotte and their father Scott Riddle of Greensboro, NC; Rachelann Pace of Eden, NC

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Henry C. Pace, Jr.; step-son, H.C. Pace III; granddaughter, Alicia Pace Riddle; and her brother Jack Fleming. 

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10-11am at First Baptist church. The family will receive friends at other times, at the home of Bill Pace, 212 W. Harris Place.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Morehead Nursing Center and to Hospice of Rockingham County.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to First Baptist Church in Eden (533 Greenwood St, Eden, NC 27288), or Hospice of Rockingham County (Mail to “HRC” at PO Box 281, Wentworth, NC  27375).
