Eleanor Samuels Robertson

Eleanor Samuels Robertson, 84, passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at her home in Cascade, VA.

A funeral service will be held 2pm, Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Willis Memorial Baptist Church, Cascade, VA, with burial to follow at Danview Cemetery in Eden, NC. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at Willis Memorial Baptist Church. For those unable to attend the service, Eleanor will lie-in-repose Tuesday, February 15, 2022, from Noon-5pm, at Fair Funeral Home in Eden, NC.

Born February 14, 1937, Eleanor was a daughter of the late Cecil Lee Samuels and Ruby Bolick Samuels.  She was a member of Willis Memorial Baptist Church. She worked as the owner operator of Eden Carpet Outlet until her retirement. Eleanor loved singing for many years with The Willisaires Quartet. Eleanor enjoyed painting and crafts and spending time with her family.

Eleanor is survived by her five children, Kathy McBride of Danville, Mike Robertson and wife, Bobbie of Shenandoah, VA, Jerry Robertson and wife, Sue of Eden, Janet Esbough and husband, James of Titusville, FL and Dawn Hutchison of Rock Hill, SC; 16 grandchildren, Missy, Amy, Tracy, Mike, Heather, Rebecca, Sandy, Laurie, Jerry Jr., Travis, Amanda, Linda, Kyle, Jennifer, Tiffany and Mason; 24 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Eleanor is preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Kyle Robertson.
