Elder Harry Hicks Meeks
March 26, 1932 — September 1, 2017
Elder Harry Hicks Meeks, 85, passed away early Friday morning, September 1, 2017, at Blue Ridge Nursing Center in Martinsville, VA.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, September 3, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Overlook Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home.
Mr. Meeks was born March 26, 1932 to the late Woodson and Daisy Meeks. He was the former owner and operator of Meeks Produce in Ridgeway, VA.
He is survived by his daughter, Judy Hopkins (Larry) of Eden; two sons, Harry "Bubba" Meeks, Jr. of Axton, VA and Dave Meeks of Ridgeway, VA; three grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
