Elaine Murphy Minter

Elaine Murphy Minter, 92, of 161 Highland Ave., Eden passed away Thursday February 2, 2012 at Morehead Memorial Hospital. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial to follow at Overlook Cemetery. Elaine was born in Spray (now Eden) to the late Thomas T. and Ellen Strutton Murphy. She was retired from Spray Cotton Mill and a member of Osborne Baptist Church. Mrs. Minter is survived by her daughters; Claudia Marie Deil of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Lee Diane Minter of the home, 11 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchild, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in husband Clifton F. Minter, son; David R. Minter, 2 sisters, and 7 brothers.

Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service.and other times at the home.
