Elaine Joyce Goldston

Elaine Joyce Goldston, 96, of 134 N Oakland Ave, passed away late Friday evening April 11th, 2014 at the home of her caregiver.

The funeral service will be Monday April 14th 2pm at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with entombment to take place in the Overlook Mausoleum following the service. Mrs. Goldston was born February 18, 1918 in Leaksville, NC to the late William Yance Joyce, Sr. and Kate Gray Joyce. she was a member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ and she retired from Fieldcrest Mills where she was a book keeper in the accounting department.

Surviving are her son William G. Goldston and friend Jan Williams of Durham, NC and grandson Joseph W. Goldston and wife Elizabeth of Durham, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband Garth E. Goldston and one brother William Yance Joyce, Jr. and his wife Elaine Joyce. Visitation will be held Monday one hour prior to the service at Fair Funeral Home.
